SALVATION

Coming into a relationship with Jesus Christ is a step of faith, a life changing decision ensuring forgiveness of sins and eternal salvation. Hopefully these highlights below will bring encouragement and provide a personal opportunity to receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior!

Creation & The Fall of Man :

Genesis 1:1, “In the beginning, God created the Heaven and Earth.”

Genesis 1:26 “And God said, let us make man in our own image...”

Genesis 1:31 “And God saw everything that he had made, and, behold it was very good...”

As creation was made perfect, Adam and Eve were given one rule which was, "do not eat the fruit from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil." However, Adam and Eve disobeyed God by eating of the forbidden fruit, causing death and sin to be poured out on all mankind. This is known as  “The Fall of Man,”  which separated all men and women from God.

Genesis 2:17 "But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die."

Genesis 3:3 "But God did say, you must not eat of the fruit of the garden, neither must you touch it, lest you die."

Forgiveness & Need of a Savior :

The Bible clearly states that, "All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God." So, God knew that mankind needed forgiveness, redemption, and a personal Savior. Therefore, God displayed perfect love and grace by sending His one and only son Jesus Christ to die on the cross for every person.

Romans 3:23, “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.”

John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

God’s Standard & One Salvation :

God’s standard of holiness is much higher than what mankind can achieve. God is divinely Holy and perfectly just and He will hold high His standard of holiness and righteousness according to the Bible. The only way to receive Salvation, eternal life, and a personal relationship with God is to, "Confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus Christ and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead."

John 14:6 "Jesus said unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man comes unto the Father, but by me.."

Romans 10:9 "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved."

Relationship with God :

Once you have confessed with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believed in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you shall be eternally saved and become a new Christ follower. This means you are now a child of God, a son and or daughter completely forgiven from sin and eternal death. You have received Salvation, eternal life, forgiveness, and a personal relationship with God the father, Son & Holy Spirit!

Romans 10:9 "That if you shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you shall be saved."

1 John 1:9 "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

1 John 5:13 "These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God."

Ephesians 1:13 "In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise."

2 Corinthians 5:17 “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”

Personal Prayer :

If you would like to have a personal relationship with God, please pray this simple prayer below and believe that you have received!

"Dear God,

Thank you for sending your son Jesus to die on the cross for me. I confess that I have sinned against you and I am in need a Savior. I believe that Jesus Christ is Lord and God has raised Him from the dead. Right now, I give you my whole heart and choose to follow You with my life. I receive your forgiveness, life, and Holy Spirit and believe that I am now a child of God. In Jesus name I pray, Amen!"
